I’m not sure if all of you are familiar with this Malay ‘old wives tale’ but a Hantu Tetek, or literally translated, “Ghost Boob”, is the ghost of a woman who has these saggy tits and kidnaps children by trapping them under her loose mammaries.
I know, Malay people are really quite bonkers. You would think that they would make up more imaginative stuff than ghostly women who go around with their tits flapping irresponsibly.
Anyway this inspired the following MSN conversation.
i did some research about it after i read your post, this is aimed at kids. Death from strangulation between those huge mons, thats a good way to go.Anyway, jokes aside, ghosts like this and the one with 2metre+ legs made of sticks are aimed to scare kampung kids. Even among their cultures, they find mockery in such ghosts. However, there are plenty of asian ghost that are among the scariest in the world, I can asure you, especially among the malay communities. You can find a list of the type of ghosts on the internet, flying heads, foetus in a bottle that can move, the pontianak,etc.
The pontianak is probably the most scary vampire of all cultures, the west have greatly distort it, the chinese vampire is comical more than it is scary, the indian vampires….lets not get to that.
Yikes.
