I thought today’s WISP presentation went rather well. If you don’t know, WISP or World Issues: the Singaporean Perspective is a compulsory module that all year 3’s have to take, so this is where they mix up other schools and generally give Mass Commers a chance to you know, mingle.
By mingle, I obviously mean to stay as closely packed together as possible and ridicule other people’s bad use of the English language in their presentation slides. We just can’t help ourselves. I myself witnessed half a room of Mass Commers simultaneously whisper corrections while a group was presenting something about the French civil war.
Anyway my group and I, naturally made up of true blue Mass Commers, did a whopping 150+ slide presentation on the Iraq War. So we really went into detail about the discrepancies in the NY times version of the Iraq War timeline and other credible sources and wow, I can honestly say that this is one of the first Integrated Studies modules that’s really struck a chord.
I’m so glad that George Bush is not an option. I can only hope that whoever is there in the hot seat in future will really live up to his or her promises or at the very least make a change, any chance from the status quo.
Wow, it’s weird that I can say ‘his or her’. How times have changed.
The other presentation I had to do today was for my other Integrated Studies module, Business Communications but who cares.
Besides all that Pitch ‘08 is happening tomorrow and I’m the usher that leads everyone to their seats. Yippee! We’ll all take a deep breath, a red bull, a few happy pills even and try to get tomorrow over with as smoothly as possible.

how cute.
love you….
Yes BUSH is not an option but Obama is!
